Reconnectable

Market available state-of-the-art solutions for IV dislodgment are all designed to create a stronger bond between the IV line and the patient. However, this approach has been proven insufficient with many clinicians reporting that the line is still pulled out. ReLink® is compatible with the standard Luer Lock fitting, when connected to the IV line, it creates a weak link that supports a controlled break once the IV line is forcefully pulled.

ReLink® consists of two parts, each equipped with a self-sealing valve. The valves seal automatically upon separation of the parts, thus preventing the loss of IV fluids currently associated with a dislodgement accident.

Increased patient safety 

The weak-link feature of ReLink® is designed to save the IV cannula from being torn from the patient in case of an accident. Protecting the cannula leads to avoidance of patient harm, nuisance of cannula replacement and shorter time when the patient must go unmedicated. The self-sealable valves prevent harmful blood loss and ensures a known infused volume.
